PERFECT SMILE CORPORATION ANNOUNCES CLINICAL STUDY ON THE EFFECT OF TOOTHPASTE CONTAINING CoQ10 IN TREATING GINGIVITIS

Cleveland, Ohio, November 30, 2006…Perfect Smile Corporation announced today that it is sponsoring a double-blind clinical study at the Case Western Reserve University Dental School.  The study titled “The Effect of a Toothpaste Containing Coenzyme Q10 in the Treatment of Gingivitis”, is under the direction of Dr. Nabil Bissada, Professor and Chair of the Department of Periodontics.  Patient enrollment began in early Summer and achieved full enrollment of 100 patients within 90 days.  Completion of the clinical portion of the study will occur in February 2007 and the analysis and publication of results will be available soon thereafter.

As previously announced, Perfect Smile acquired an exclusive license to use MicroActive® CoQ10 Complex in oral care applications. MicroActive CoQ10 Complex is produced under a patented process, and laboratory studies utilizing human gingival cells demonstrate superior bioavailability as compared to standard forms of CoQ10.
